Stoop Kids!

So there's this place on campus, and like….everyone knows about it. It's the stoop. It's that little platform at the back of the little theater. And for some strange reason, I love it! It's just another place to sit and chill. There's nothing special about it but it's the first place I want to go to hang out. We're leaving a group setting but still want to hang out. Where do we go? The stoop. We're meeting to go to the beach, the cafeteria, or anywhere. Where do we meet? The stoop. We just want something to do. Where do we go to decide? The stoop! And another thing! I'm like possessive over the stoop! It's not mine. However when I see people on the stoop, and I want to be on the stoop, I get this uncontrollable urge to go and kick them off! I get that it's public property but I'm pretty sure that no one is around there more than me and my friends. Yesterday was a perfect example of my possessiveness over the stoop. I left the group in Hale Four because there were just WAY too many people in there. Esther came with me and we couldn't decide where to go. Naturally, we decide to head to the stoop. We got near and saw a couple sitting there. Darn couples. The two of us could've gone anywhere else. But there's that urge to go and kick those people off. We didn't. No worries. As a backup plan we just took a walk around the little circle. There were tons of other places we could've stopped and sat down and chilled at. But for some reason we just didn't. Finally we ended up where we started. It was getting later and I was debating on whether or not to go to bed. Nope, let's check out the stoop instead! Couple: gone. Stoop: mine! So we sat there and talked for hours! Something about that stoop is just so fun. A lot of people walk by it and sometimes huge groups get gathered around it. We've finally deemed ourselves the "Stoop kids." Yes, we stole it from Hey Arnold. If you've never seen Hey Arnold, check this video out. Stoop kids! Never leave the stoop! Stoop kids for life!
